Hello everyone!
I am so proud and excited to present Sage Grooming to you all.
This new opportunity will allow me to grow and develop as a self-employed groomer, whilst maintaining the high standards of animal welfare set at Stablecroft.
The grooming packages offered and salon location will remain the same without change, but keep an eye out for new packages and offers coming soon!
As of the 1st October 2022 All bookings must be made through Sage grooming. Stablecroft will be unable to advise, book or take payments from this date forward.
No need to fret! Booking couldn’t be easier.
I have an online client booking system in place, this means you can create a profile for your dog and easily request and modify bookings. You will also be able to see previous groom information.
We now request payment is made upon collection of your dog, however for those Dogs that have grooms during their time at daycare, an invoice will be sent to you and we ask that payment is made before the end of the same working day.
Please go to www.sagegrooming.co.uk and follow the instructions to create and account.
I am also available by email and phone. However, I am unlikely to answer the phone during the day as the safety of the dogs in my salon is paramount. I will respond to all enquiries within 24 hours.
I am so looking forward to welcoming returning clients and also meeting some new fluffy faces!
Thank you
Charlotte Sage

The Tuck Shop will be a part of the Stablecroft booking system where you’ll be able to make bookings and place an order for collection at the same time.
These orders will be picked within 24 hours and ready to hand over to you upon collection. Alternatively treats can be purchased to be fed to your loved one whilst they’re in our care 😊 So please let us know your dog’s favourite goodies and we’ll let you know once the shop goes live!

A huge thank you to all the lovely humans who donated to The bordercollie spot whilst I completed the 15k Tough Mudder Henley.
It was a cracking day out and I came home knackered, a little bruised but with a great sense of achievement.
Onto the next challenge :)

Vets4pets post:
We have seen a substantial number of confirmed Giardia cases in dogs at the practice this past week! 🐕🐕
Giardia is a microscopic parasite that attacks the lining of the intestines and is spread by ingesting infected faeces, this means there’s a number of ways it can be picked up!
Some examples would be...
🦠 Eating contaminated grass where an infected dog has previously defecated
🦠 Drinking from contaminated water
🦠 Saying hello to or playing with another dog which is infected and may have the parasite on their coat
🦠 Picking up sticks/toys that are contaminated
🦠 Eating other dogs faeces
🦠 Licking their paws/coat that is contaminated with faecal matter
So... what are the symptoms of Giardia?
💩 Diarrhoea, often strong smelling and mucusy or haemorrhagic (containing blood)
🤮 Vomiting
💨 Flatulence
🍽 Decreased appetite
Unfortunately giardia is zoonotic meaning we can catch it from our pets too! 😧🙈
It’s important to maintain good hygiene and regular hand washing. Please pick up after your dog as soon as possible and be vigilant.
Giardia is treatable however regular worming treatment won’t be effective. If you’re concerned about your dog at all please give the practice a call for further advice and if they’re showing any symptoms it may be best to avoid any doggy kisses for a while! 🐶💋⛔️
