Bluebell walk

We wandered through the bluebells, wood anemone, and celandine—everything zesty green.
Overhead, the buzzards, kites, and crows made their presence known, and all around us was the low bark of muntjac deer.

Yesterday we gathered for a walk into the woods, guided by Antal.

We feel incredibly privileged to explore, walk & create, and make art alongside such a brilliant group of humans from the Earley Hotel.

Thank you so much to for the brilliant work they do and their endless love and support.
Together, we move and create as one

Antal & I had such a great time today at “A Dose of Nature” with at the Holybrook Nook.
A gentle, grounding day spent reconnecting with nature and soaking in its calm.

Antal met with some wonderful wildlife today...
A badger, chiff chaff, nuthatch, robin, greater spotted woodpecker, and some kind of finch.
Walked back through the estate to enjoy the Caribbean food at Joy's Kitchen.

Wonderfulllllll.

Hands on experience of hooding and coping Antal's beak.

Coping a bird's beak involves trimming and filing the overgrown keratin layer (similar to a human fingernail) to restore its natural shape and function, typically required every six months for raptors in captivity. Using a Dremel tool or files, the procedure removes excess length from the tip and sides while protecting the tongue and avoiding the vascular layer.

I would like to thank David Bishop for this exquisite gift.
It truly is a piece of art.
