The first wave of artists for Readipop Yard Party 2026 on Saturday 22nd August at our newly re-furbished studios in Trafford Road is here! As always, we are proud to present a diverse array of talent, both grassroots and established, from across multiple genres. This includes “cinematic electro-rock renegades”.

The Pink Diamond R***e and hotly-tipped indie favourites Puma Theory, who raised the roof for us at last year’s Readipop Fiesta and will be playing a special acoustic set.

Energetic hip hop duo Finessa & Shy Zer0 return to our stage after their triumphant set at Riverbeats 2025 and Tiam makes her debut performance for us. RG EMOM host Rob Woodward brings his SuperAudioNation project alongside fellow live electronic music act Hi Scores & Yogert for a Readipop XOX Showcase and a selection of the young participants of our Readipop AAA Programme will perform tracks created during their sessions with our team.

Our Readipop Festival events are never complete without a performance from Readipop’s legendary community samba group Beatroots and the equally impressive African drummers Tankata Percussion, who will also encourage audience participation during their Yard Party set.

Added to that, we have studio tours, family workshops, street food, a licensed bar and more acts to be announced so we’re in for a treat at the first public event in our newly refurbished Readipop studios!

The response for Readipop Yard Party tickets has already been high so don’t wait around if you’re planning to join us on Saturday 22nd August as capacity is limited. Music making charity Readipop Festival is throwing a housewarming party to remember! After a year of refurbishments, their Trafford Road studios are open and ready for the community to explore. Join them on Saturday, 22 August for live music, studio tours, street food and more. It is free to attend, but please book in advance!

Big vibes incoming 🎶🎤

Team Readipop are excited to announce that on Saturday 22nd August we are welcoming you all to our newly refurbished studios in Trafford Road for Readipop Yard Party 2026! Between 1-9pm, we’re bringing live music and DJs across two stages plus family workshops, drum performances, guided tours of our new studios, street food, licensed bar and more!
Those of you familiar with Readipop and our work as a music charity will know that the last couple of years have been a big transition for us while we focus on building our studios back into a hub for a diverse variety of local producers and performers (both grassroots and established). Our yard party is your opportunity to support our work and visit our new studios while enjoying the high level of musical talent, family workshops and other fun activities that everyone associates with Readipop Festival, Readipop Fiesta, Riverbeats and all our other previous events.
