Reading Velodrome is situated on the eastern side of Reading within easy access from the M4 motorway at junction 10 and is the only Velodrome within British Cycling Central Division for track Cycling enthusiasts.
Monday Night Track league kicked off last night, with the first of our 3 coach led track sessions. This was a brilliant evening of preperation and a great introduction for both adults and youths back into track racing, ahead of the official start of track league in May!

Monday Night Track Racing Starts April 2026 at Palmer Park Stadium! Open Race Nights Every Week - All Age Groups...
After a long break, we will start with 3 coach led sessions in April to introduce EVERYONE back to the track, and get some practice in before the official start of Track League races in May which will continue every Monday night through the summer ... it's coming ☀️

Today is the first Monday in April, and what a lovely day it is this year. As you will probably/hopefully be aware, track league is on hold until we are able to return to the track. The current situation is as follows:- Starting next Monday, works will commence on replacing the athletics running track, hopefully the weather will be kind for this....

Following the cancellation of derny racing on Monday 22nd August, we had hoped the situation would be resolved and we would be able to have derny racing on 2nd September. Alas, the latest information is that the uncertainty with the lighting persists, so no derny racing. Unfortunately there will not be another opportunity in 2024, here's to more luck in 2025. Having said all this, track league will go ahead on Monday. Hope to see many riders there.
