Things learned from the internet today: Like Nehemiah, staying focused on God's strength keeps the heart peaceful no matter what others do.

Just as Nehemiah focused on rebuilding while others stood by expecting a downfall, soul-rest means keeping the heart fixed on God's purpose regardless of external noise. When life brings coldness or emotional fatigue, taking charge of peace looks like this:👇🏽

-Take charge of joy: Step out, enjoy good food, and walk in steady confidence.

-Prioritize soul-care: Invest in grace, self-care, and inner rest when the environment feels heavy.

-Seek God's approval: Ask, "Is God pleased with how the heart is being guarded right now?"

-Embrace the Joy of the Lord: Nehemiah declared that the joy of the Lord is strength (Nehemiah 8:10)- a divine resilience that remains steady even when human support runs empty.

-Refuse to let heavy surroundings dictate internal rest. Choose to stay anchored in God's peace and surround the heart with healthy, uplifting love.
