Overbury’s Manchester office brings together a series of bespoke lighting elements designed to work in line with the architectural intent of the space 🖤
Working alongside , the scheme for required a considered approach to ensure each luminaire could seamlessly integrate within the complex shape of the space, whilst maintaining consistency across open plan and meeting areas.
A defining feature is the nautilus-inspired ceiling, where our Lightplane and Serpentine luminaries were manufactured to exact dimensions, allowing the lighting to follow the curvature precisely and sit seamlessly within the design.
Director at Light forms, Paul Shoosmith commented, “𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘮 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦.”
The result is a stunning lighting scheme that supports both the visual concept and functional requirements of the workplace.

On course for better conversations ⛳
Sometimes the best ideas don’t happen in the office – they happen mid-round.
Harry Prior, Ash Ebanks and Darren Sugg recently joined the teams at .mep and for a lovely day out on the golf course, where conversations flowed as naturally as the game itself. Between swings and the occasional search for a wayward ball, the group covered everything from current projects to wider industry insights.
It’s a great reminder that stepping away from the day-to-day can open up space for more relaxed, honest, and productive discussions.
Different setting, same shared focus – collaboration, creativity, and moving ideas forward.
A day well spent, and safely above par.
