** Careers Quest **

Last Thursday, students from Year 9 took part in a series of work experience workshops for careers in the Health & Social Care sector including dentistry, primary care & public health.

We would like to extend our thanks to Bucks Skills Hub, our NHS team and Bucks New University for running such an engaging and valuable day for our students.

🎒 Stay Safe in the Heat:
Please ensure students bring a refillable water bottle and have applied sun protection before arriving at school.

From Monday to Thursday this week, students are permitted to come to school in their PE kit. Please note:

👕 Must include: The official PRS logo PE top and plain black sports leggings or shorts.

❌ Not permitted: Plain black or white t-shirts.

Shout out to our World Challenge 2027 students who ran a car wash and bake sale on Saturday. The team enthusiastically washed more than 50 cars, raising vital funds for their trip and for the community in Vietnam they will be visiting next year.

Thank you to everyone who supported the initiative by bringing their car to be cleaned or donating or purchasing cakes!

** Reminder **
All lockers must be emptied before the end of term to allow Rent My Locker to clean and reset all the lockers ahead of the new school year.

Any items left will be given to charity or disposed of!

Calling all budding artists! Mrs Smart is collating entries for the PRTC Art in the Park competition. Entries must be original artwork and not form part of any GCSE or A 'Level work.

Entries should be submitted ASAP, and by the 26th June at the latest, and can be in original format or as a high resolution image. Application forms can be collected from the Art Department or downloaded from the council website.

Year 12 History and Politics students enjoyed a trip to Mansfield College Oxford and the Oxford Union on Thursday evening.

The students took part in a lively debate, 'Is Donald Trump unfit for office?', and really impressed with their public speaking skills!

Year 8 Parents - Please remember to complete the google form to let us know if your child will be on a placement or in school on Tuesday 14th July. If the form is not completed, we will expect your child to be in school.

* Students should undertake tasks that would be given to a junior employee and/or shadow other workers
* Students should be classed as a visitor to the workplace to observe and take part in working practices
