It's been a year when not much renovation activity has actually happened inside the Princes Risborough Signal Box. There continues the ongoing battle against rotting timbers and window frames, but the box itself has been operational throught the year, with no major works required.
To keep this Facebook post a reasonable length, we plan to update the Risborough Box section of our main Chinnor Railway website (https://www.chinnorrailway.co.uk/article.php/74/princes-risborough-north-signal-box) with full details shortly. We will also mirror that on the box's own website: https://www.risboroughbox.org.uk/ Please feel free to visit either website.
In the meantime, we post herewith a few photos to give you a flavour of how the box, the systems and the signals it controls, are coming along.
The Signals & Telegraph team at PRNB wish all our followers a very Happy & Prosperous New Year! Why not consider volunteering with us in 2025?

We'll try and do an 'end of year' report on the box soon, but in the meantime here's a view from the box today (19 Nov 24) courtesy of www.railcam.uk
