Normally we stay out of politics as a charity. It’s a messy business. But as a charity who supports those who gave their all in this conflict it’s so hard not to speak out and urge our politicians to speak out for every single person who gave. We can’t say it any more eloquently than this

A heartfelt thanks to this absolutely lovely bunch of ladies who dropped in this morning with an amazingly generous donation raised at their weekly breakfast club. We have invited them for a woodworking session to make items for their gardens when the weather is a bit more kind. I do think they may give the guys in the workshop a run for their money 😂😂 Thanks to Dee Parris for being the sensible one 😀

It was lovely to have a visitor from Peter H Smith LTD this morning. They have supported us for a number of years with generous donations of plants. These donations help to make our garden the safe, calm and welcoming space that our veterans enjoy.

We are proud to support Preston based, Military charity ~ Dig In with a regular donation of plants for their beautiful gardens.

Dig In is made up of the military community, both serving and veteran, and their families. A project that is so much more than gardening. It offers support through the learning of practical new skills such as carpentry, stone masonry, as well as opportunities to connect over fishing trips, but also times to relax and chat over tea and toast

The project grows plants which are for sale alongside stunning wooden garden furniture, planters and decor

Why not take a look at their page ~ Dig In
