Glam Rockerz

🎸 A MASSIVE THANK YOU, PADSTOCK! 🎸

A huge thank you to the organisers of Padstock Festival, Huddersfield, for inviting GlamRockerz to be part of your brilliant “Through the Decades” Festival, celebrating the music of the 70s, 80s and 90s.
We were proud to fly the flag for the 1970s and bring a bit of Glam Rock to the party! ⭐⚡🎸

A very special thank you has to go to Colin Berry of Glam45 , who stepped in on lead vocals for the night while our regular frontman Ian was away at his son’s wedding.
Colin had some pretty big platform boots to fill, but he did an absolutely superb job — a fantastic frontman who fitted in with the GlamRockerz brilliantly. Thanks Colin, we really appreciate you stepping up and helping us put on the show. 👏👏
Thanks also to everyone who came along, sang, danced and enjoyed a trip back through the decades with us.
Padstock — thanks for having us. We had a blast!
Keep it Glam! ⭐⚡

Where were you in '72?

Six years ago, we formed a band to play what many today would call a niche genre – Glam Rock.

We never imagined that we'd find such a loyal and appreciative audience, with people travelling from all over the country to come and see us. Together, we've created a nostalgic trip back to the early 1970s that's filling music venues and theatres, and we're genuinely humbled that people choose to spend their hard-earned money on a ticket to watch us perform.

One of the greatest feelings is standing on stage and hearing the audience sing every word and every chorus back to us. The energy that comes from the crowd is absolutely electric. It's impossible to describe unless you've experienced it, and it's a feeling that gives all five of us goosebumps every single time.

Some of the best moments happen after the show, when people come over to chat. They tell us about the summer holidays they remember, their first boyfriend or girlfriend, the first record they ever bought, the fashions they wore, and what those songs meant to them growing up. For a couple of hours, everyone is transported back to a special time in their lives.

That's the real magic of live music. It's more than just songs—it's shared memories, smiles, laughter, and stories that connect complete strangers.

We feel incredibly fortunate to be a small part of that. Truly blessed, and grateful to every single person who has supported us on this amazing journey.
