Don't normally do this but today I will ....Just a little complaint/ thought about some pictures of buffets posted online by some of my "competitors" caterers...
Being in this industry and trying the very best to offer a high quality service, either in look and taste of course, not just badly cut sandwiches thrown on a tray with edges still on, trays full of crisps or shop bought sausage rolls and cakes which are obviously not homemade...I wonder....what is this if not visibly taking the mic of paying customers...my question is, are customers actually happy with this kind of spread or is it just politeness ...

I would never ever fill up a tray with shop bought stuff just to set the table with a few more trays tricking the look of a larger spread.
I would feel ashamed in doing this and yet it's almost all I see on FB among many caterers...
I understand some people don't have a budget but honestly, don't pay for something you can do yourself...just my opinion...it's not rocket science to open packages and throw them on a tray with a few strawberries...😅

This might just be me but maybe I care too much for my customers to take advantage this way...
