Our Perth Grammar pipers today playing in the cyclists that are cycling from Lands End to John O Groats. This is a big Fund raiser to support young people’s mental health and is conjunction with Marks and Spencer. Scottish Schools Pipes and Drums Trust - SSPDT

We have 2 of our young pipers from Perth Grammar school out in the town today, piping in the cyclists for the Big Fun-Raiser. This is supporting young people’s mental health in partnership with Marks and Spencer.

We had a great gig this morning with the Big Band to kick off the Perth Festival of the Arts Jazz festival this weekend. This piece features Thomas on Piano. Thomas was the Perth and Kinross representative in Last weeks Scottish Young Musician final.
We are edging closer to the final weeks of term, but we're still going strong! On Saturday (30th May) our wonderful Big Band will be playing their own concert as part of the Perth Festival of the Arts jazz weekend! 🎺🎷
Join us at St Matthews Church at 11am to hear music by Earth, Wind & Fire, Dexter Gordon, Snarky Puppy, Raye, and many more.

Some of our pipers from Breadalbane Academy along with violinists and vocalists were out today entertaining the community at Dunkeld Cathedral Music Festival. It’s always great to hear a wee tune from the pipes outside in lovely weather.

Busy day for some of our young musicians. PYO this morning then we all hopped on a bus to Glasgow with the Big Band to perform at The Scottish Young Musicians solo final of the year.

This morning (Sunday) our brilliant Perth Youth Orchestra are performing in the annual church service as part of Perth Festival of the Arts. This year they have all been given a Commemorative Certificate in appreciation for all the hard work the young musicians put in to make this event and performance very memorable.
