Bramblers are taking an indefinite break from social media (namely Facebook and Instagram) with a view to building community for those that do want to engage with us away from platforms that exist at odds with the experiences we hope to share.
We’re starting a newsletter to keep those who are interested in the loop. It’ll be focussed on any upcoming events, routes, rides or runs, as well as occasional updates about the business. We won’t waste your time with advertising or special offers (deals and discounts are reserved for our regular customers and if you want to buy something, don’t open your phone, go to a shop).
Separately, we'll be setting up a WhatsApp group for our Breakfast Club to communicate about our group runs and rides.
If you'd like to keep in touch then head over to our newsletter sign-up (www.bramblers.scot/newsletter), or come visit us in person for a coffee.

In a number of conversations we've had recently, it’s becoming increasingly clear that many people are reluctant to invest in a bike fit because of bad past experiences with other bike fitters.
As a relative newcomer to the industry, it’s clear that the bad work of some bike fitters is damaging the profession. Whilst we can’t promise to fix bad bike fitting everywhere, we do have a proposal for how we can fix your bike fit.
If you’ve ever had a bike fit that you weren't happy with then you shouldn't have to risk paying for another bad experience.
Book in with us, we'll do our best to change your mind on bike fitting but if we can’t improve your position or you're still not convinced then we'll reinstate your original fit and you won’t have to pay a penny for your appointment.

Bramblers are closed until the 21st whilst Izzy and I take a short holiday on the bikes. I'm going to do my best to avoid screens this week - my apologies in advance for any delayed replies.

Our Bioracer Motion system gives us more accurate positional data than any other bike fitting system on the market.
As the only bike fitting studio in Scotland offering 3D simultaneous motion analysis, we think our services offer pretty damn good value for money.
For £150, our bike fit appointments include 3D motion analysis, saddle pressure mapping and a free follow up appointment within three months of your first fit. That's over £100 cheaper than most of our competitors.
Still not convinced? We offer a money back guarantee on all of our bike fitting services.
We're now taking bookings on our website with appointments available from the 15th of July onwards.

By popular demand, Bramblers are now open again throughout the week - except Monday, that's my day off.
Also by popular demand, we'll soon be able to offer batch brew in store, from popular local roasters Common Coffee.
Speaking of popular, if you've enjoyed your coffee from us over the past few weeks, head over to the Google and leave us a five star review to help us get more popular.
If you don't think we deserve those five stars, then let us know what we can do better!

Bramblers will be serving coffee to takeaway from local roasters, Common Coffee, from 10am-3pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We'll also have a small selection of tray bakes from Fieldwork.
To adhere to social distancing measures, we've limited entry to person (or household) in the shop at a time.
We will still be accepting reusable cups provided they're clean and will only be accepting card or contactless payments at this time.

Along with our screening of the Onboard documentary by Antonin Michaud-soret on April 3rd, we'll have a gallery of prints from James Robertson
James has covered five editions of the race since 2015. For me, his work has become synonymous with the image of the The Transcontinental Race
After the screening, we'll have a Q&A with James as well as a chance to buy some of his prints (may include arty ultra-cycling nudes).

Tickets are now available for our screening of the new Onboard The Transcontinental Race documentary by Ahstudio. Find them here: www.bramblers.scot/shop/onboard-screening
We'll have a gallery from race photographer James Robertson as well as a Q&A with James and Antonin about their time spent documenting the race.
