What do RASAC Youth Ambassadors do?

👉Create national social media campaigns,
👉Group summer activities and trips,
👉Join and organise protest marches,
👉Change-making activities,
👉Receive training on lots of subjects,
👉Co -deliver RASAC Violence prevention workshops to young people.
👉Make friends with like minded people

Recent projects have included fundraising activities like bake sales, designing awareness merch, representing RASAC at events like Perth Pride and Reclaim the Night, and creating resources on topics such as online safety, and attending events and conferences.

Today, soroptimist and citizens' advice came in to speak about their money matters programme. They spoke about managing spending, budgets, debt, pensions, and saving and gave insight into the wonderful services they offer.

RASAC P&K Multi Agency Training

👉Nov & Dec - 2026 We are offering free Multi Agency Training to professionals working in Perth & Kinross, who may work with individuals who are affected by sexual violence

📖TRAINING LEARNING OUTCOMES To improve your knowledge and skills in a range of different topics relating to sexual violence, understanding survivors' lives and to enhance your practice.

✅1st Dec- 10am-1pm Gender Based Violence (Online Training)

In person sessions will take place in Perth city centre.

Did you know that we support survivors regardless of their beliefs, backgrounds or their experiences. Survivors are at the centre of what we do – free confidential, non judgmental support.

We would never judge you on your beliefs, life experiences or your background. We are all unique people shaped by the world we live and the journeys we have walked. We will sit in the support room without judgment and we will listen, believe and support.

This week, we did some training with our youth ambassadors about digital literacy. We unpicked different news articles and looked at how titles were written to make people click on articles but also how they could create misinformation. We did activities spotting AI and looked at how we can debunk misinformation or fake media online. We also discussed the impact of misinformation on young people.

• Our Youth Ambassadors are young people 12-18 of any gender, usually attending high school
• Our student ambassadors are young people 18-25 of any gender, usually attending college and/or university
