It's going to be SPOOKTACULAR! 🕷

📅 Letham Climate Challenge Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday 22nd October at the Letham Social Club on Marlee Road, Perth PH1 2HL.

Doors will open 6.30. The formal meeting will commence at 7pm.

Tea and coffee will follow the meeting.

The AGM offers an opportunity for local residents, members, and supporters to hear updates on the organisation’s work over the past year, as well as plans for the future. The AGM provides a chance to meet the team behind Letham Climate Challenge, learn more about ongoing projects, and find out how to get involved.

Over the last few days, we've had over 75 school pupils visit our Allotments! 😁👩‍🎓💚

They've been very eager to harvest their beetroot, carrots and potatoes that their peers planted and maintained with us over the Spring and Summer. 🥕🥔
They got to taste the tomatoes, chillies, cucumbers, plums, raspberries amongst other fruit and veg they were able to identify themselves at our Allotments.🍓🥒🌶🍅
They've taken home crates of fruit and veg, and we're very excited to see what the children can make from it! Lot's of talk of soups, cakes and crumbles. 😋

We were delighted to have such a keen population of young growers. Eating locally sourced, organic produce cannot be recommended enough. That together with the reward of the fruits of their hard labour, and spending time outdoors makes for improved physical and mental health. ❤️

None of this would be possible without our fantastic volunteers Dave, John, Fiona, Jillian and Heather, so a huge thanks to our wonderful green team!👏

Apples, apples and more apples! 🍎🍏
To our Swap Shop customers asking where all the baskets of apples keep coming from, they are from our Community Orchard on Strathtay Road. 🥰
Alan has very kindly strimmed a path between the trees, so please go and help yourselves!
If you happen to make an apple pie, I'm sure our volunteers wouldn't say no to a slice. 😅🤣
