Come along this Saturday to join in our gaming community here at Perth Autism Support! 👾

Never played some of our games before? No problem at all. Whether you're completely new or just curious, we'll guide you through everything — from the basics to tips and strategies. And if you enjoy Magic: The Gathering or Monopoly, you'll definitely find something to get stuck into 🎲

Anyone is welcome to come along to the session so feel free to pop in and say hi! 👋

Club will be taking place in the Youth Hub (upstairs) rather than the Activities Room downstairs 🎮

To access the building, please use the doorbell at the main entrance and wait patiently for a member of staff to answer. The building is a little bigger than you might think, so it can take us a few moments to get to the door 🔔

There will be clear signage throughout the building, and our staff team and young volunteers will be on hand to show you where everything is and answer any questions.

For anyone who may need a quieter space during the session, we will be using the Training Room as our quiet space instead of the Sensory Room ✨

Parents and carers of children and young people with additional support needs are invited to attend one of the upcoming information events 🎉

The events are open whether your child has a diagnosis, is awaiting assessment, or if you have concerns and would like advice 🤔

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet local support services and organisations, access information and advice about support available in the area, speak directly with groups that support families, and connect informally with other parents and carers 💡

Stay, Play & Connect Sessions at PAS 💛

Our next session at 14 New Row will be on Tuesday 22nd September, 10am until 11.30am, these sessions will run weekly during term time with the last session being on Tuesday 6th October 2026. ✍️

We've included more information on what the sessions are, how they are structured and the team that run these sessions on rotation 🙌

With a focus on play and development, not only can your little one have lots of fun, but parents can meet in a supportive environment, with our team on hand to help with advice, information and provide play ideas and snack! 😊

❗ We know it is unlikely many of our pre-school children will have received a formal diagnosis or even in the process of assessment, we are therefore welcoming all Early Years families to join us if their children have any significant language/communication differences or potential neurodiversity.

There’s no need to book, just come along and a member of the team will greet you at reception! If you would like to meet a team member prior to coming along for the first time, we are happy to organise this, or if you want to bring a someone to support like a friend or family member, they would be most welcome!

In case you missed the last post, our upstairs bathrooms have a whole new look! 💡

Thanks to a generous donation of both time and materials from QTS North (alongside Craig at Stewarts Building Services, Jack at Nicholls & Clarke, Ross at DuraPanel, and Dale at Fairfield Flooring) we have now had a much needed bathroom refresh! 👷‍♀️

We couldn't be more grateful for everyone's help and efforts to make this happen 🤗

We are also very excited because not only have they done our upstairs bathrooms, but they are going to be refreshing our downstairs bathrooms as well, so we can't wait to share more! 💜

Our next Parent Walking Group is on Wednesday next week🚶🏻‍♀

No need to book, so if you are free from 11am - 12pm, meet Karen from our Family and Education Team and enjoy a walk and a chat and some fresh air! 😎

We had two employability groups running through the summer holidays for young people 16-24-years-old 💼

For the first time, we invited local employers in to our sessions to give the young people an understanding of what they do and different career opportunities that exist within Perth & Kinross that they may not have considered before 💭

The Tuesday group had a visit from Nick from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service 🚒

He discussed the different career paths within the SFRS, you'd be surprised at how many people it takes to support the fire service beyond the firefighting jobs. He also brought in some firefighting equipment for the young people to look at, wow their stuff is heavy! 👨‍🚒

The Wednesday group had a visit from Susie at Beelieve Circus 🎪

She talked about how she started in this field of work and then how she created her own business in Perth 🤝

As well as insightful discussions about the business side of starting your own business and how niche markets can be viable, the young people also got to have a go learning some circus skills like juggling, spinning plates, and more! 🤹🏻‍♀️

A big thank you to Nick from The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Susie from Beelieve Circus for coming along and inspiring our young people at the start of their journey into the world of work! 🎯

These past few months, some of our wonderful team members took on the Walking Scotland Summer Walking Challenge! 🚶🏻‍♀️‍➡️

The staff members from our Employability and Family and Education teams managed to clock up over 1 MILLION steps 💯

Walking has incredible health benefits both for your mind and your body and we love to see them leading by great example 😊

We are incredibly proud of their accomplishment! 🏆
