Reminder that the U13/U15 trials are this Friday at the Sports Centre‼️

Please remember:
• £2 cash payment for the night
• Hair must be tied back
• All jewellery must be removed and no acrylic nails!
• Shorts and T-shirts should be worn so trial numbers are visible.

Important:
We are currently finalising training dates for next season. At present:
• U13 training will be on Wednesday evenings
• U15/U17 training will be on Fridays
• U19 training is still to be confirmed at this time

💚💙 DUNDEE LEAGUE 💙💚

⚡ LIGHTNING ⚡ were up against Brechin on Tuesday night. The girls gave it everything, showing great energy, determination, and teamwork throughout the match.

Although the result didn’t go Lightning’s way, there were plenty of positives to take. Every player worked hard from start to finish, and the effort and attitude on court were fantastic. Lots to build on heading into the next game. 💜

⛈️ THUNDER ⛈️ were up against Dodgers Black on Tuesday evening and made their presence known from the first whistle, taking a 6-goal lead into the second quarter.

The girls worked tirelessly to create turnovers through the middle quarters, with their full-court defensive pressure proving highly effective. Heading into the final quarter, communication and trust across the court were outstanding, as the team responded brilliantly to feedback and worked right to the final whistle to secure a fantastic win. 🤩

What a way to finish the season for our U13s💫🏐

Our Storm & Stars teams wrapped up their final games in the PKNA league spilt for the season with 2 wins, an absolutely amazing end to the season! Both teams have grown and developed so much and we couldn’t be prouder!🙌🏻

A huge thank you to Ainsley and Denise for all their hard work and dedication with both teams and to the parents supporting the girls in this league 🙌

💜💜 Angus District v Lathallan School 💜💜

Today a mix of our Angus squad played against Lathallan School Senior team at Lathallan 7s. This was an exhibition match to introduce girls to the event!

The game started close with the girls taking the win in the first quarter. Although with the adverse intermittent weather the girls played valiantly, with lots of changes and girls from different teams coming together. 💜

⚡️LIGHTING⚡️ Was playing this week against Discovery Blue, the girls got off to a slow start but settled into the game doing all their fundamentals🔥 There was lots of amazing intercepts and rebounds, overall the girls played a great game and ended up taking the win 🏆

💜🖤U15 V Dunbartonshire 🖤💜

Saturday saw our U15s make the long trip down to Dunbartonshire for their second last district match and what a battle it turned out to be!
From the first centre pass to the final whistle, it was a fiercely contested match with both sides going goal for goal. The defensive pressure across the court was outstanding, while the attacking unit showed real patience and composure to keep us right in the game. Heading into the final quarter, there was just a single goal in it.
Unfortunately, a few small errors in the closing stages were capitalised on and Dunbartonshire managed to edge ahead and secure the win.
Huge credit to the entire squad, the work rate, teamwork and determination shown in every area of the court was brilliant to see. Plenty of positives to take forward as we head into our final fixture this weekend. Thanks to Dunbartonshire for a great match!
