Christmas market number 5. Piperdam, 11-5pm all weekend

I’ll be hosting several sewing days for children in October and November. More details to follow once I’ve ‘timed’ how long each make will take. Each child will leave with a completed Christmas decoration. I know....the C word in September! If you say it very quietly and quickly you won’t even notice 😶

Little pieces of work in progress. Getting ready for Christmas at Cordon Farm.

Although it may have been quiet on the sewing machine, family 'stuff' has been keeping me very busy. Normal service will resume soon. I have a pile of ideas floating around my head and will be back stitching next week. First confirmed Christmas Fair will be at Cordon Farm, Abernethy on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December. This was a brilliant event last year. I was also thinking of a wee 'pop up' shop at home too but I'll keep you all posted about that.

Caroline Storer Design will be joining me tomorrow at St. John's Academy Easter Fair, 10-1pm. We will be selling a mixture of illustrations, prints, fabric pictures and wooden signs. Caroline has been very busy designing and producing a gorgeous range of baby grows and t-shirts. Gifts for Mother's Day will also feature. Hope to see some familiar faces xx

Thank you to everyone who shared my page. I have two christmas markets coming up. Tomorrow night is the Christmas Shopping Event in Huntingtower Hotel, 18.30-21.30. This is partnered with Ruthvenfield Primary School pupils who will be selling their own handmade items.
Christmas at Cordon Farm is 3rd and 4th December (this weekend). Held in Abernethy, very easy to find. Hope to see some friendly faces over the weekend. I'll be the one looking like Nanook of the North!!

Lil' Bees Christmas decoration workshop. Ellie, James and Cara, you were brilliant xx

Busy tidying up as tomorrow is the first of the Lil' Bees sewing group. They will be making a felt Christmas tree decoration, eating cake followed by manic sugar highs, singing Christmas songs and then being returned to their parents. Lovely! See you tomorrow Katrina and Elaine 🎄🎄

I will be at Pitcairngreen Spring Craft Fayre tomorrow, Saturday 21st May, 10.30 - 15.30. If you're in the area then pop in, tea and cake are included in the entry fee. The Autumn Fayre is always busy so let's hope the first Spring one is too. Now, just to complete the ever growing long list of sewing.

So, I've been doing some thinking, brace yourselves, about offering wee sewing classes for children. It would involve hand sewing with felt, such as making a Christmas decoration. Would there be any interest? No sewing experience necessary. Age 8 and above. Only 3 children at a time (due to limited table space in my sewing room). Cost would be £10 to cover materials, lunch etc. Hope to start in November. Let me know what you think?
