Hi everyone, hope you’re all well and didn’t have much damage done during the storm on Friday. Just a message to ask you all for your patience over the next few weeks; Gordon had a heart attack last Sunday. He is doing well but will be off work for a few weeks so I won’t be in Fridays as well as the weekends and our hours may be a bit erratic until he has recuperated a bit more. If there are any messages I will try to get back to you as soon as possible. He’s very bored and driving me nuts already so I will be quite glad to get back to work tomorrow 😂.

Happy New Year everyone! Hope 2025 is a good year for us all. We are closed until Monday 6th January. In an emergency please call NHS out of hours 111 otherwise you can call the practice and leave a message or get in touch via Messenger.

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and wishing you all the best for 2025 when it comes. Thanks to all our wonderful patients for everything once more this year. We’ll be open Monday/Tuesday next week and then closed again for the New Year.
On a serious note, anyone who uses Alcon Systane Ultra preservative free single unit drops - there has been a recall on eye drops batch no 10101 expiration Sept 2025. Please check your drops as the statement from Alcon says that there is a potentially dangerous fungal infection associated with this batch.
