Salary £11,648 (14 hours per week)
Fixed Term - 3 years

Strathearn Harriers is seeking an enthusiastic and community-focused Club Outreach and Inclusion Officer to help shape the next stage of the club’s development.

This new part time role has been created to increase the club’s capacity to engage with local communities, strengthen partnerships, improve inclusion, and support sustainable growth across its large and dispersed catchment.

Active Minds for young people age 8-12 years is back!

This project is led by Mindspace, a local mental health charity in Perth. The Active Minds programme supports young people to learn coping skills, and give them confidence and tools to succeed in life, whilst also making some new friends. Active Minds is paired with a fun physical activity session, and over 10 weeks, children will also try a host of circus skills including aerial acrobatics, to juggling and balancing at our Gold PACES club - Adventure Circus!

Cammy, Gemma and Cat from our Sports Development team and Rachael from Active Schools attended the Scottish Women in Sport annual conference at the University of the West of Scotland yesterday exploring innovation in sport!

Our favourite moment was hearing from Professor Leanne Norman from Loughborough University who delivered an insightful talk called ‘innovation in sports coaching: from fixing women to redesigning the system’ as well as hearing from Professor Vicky Tolfrey and her work in using sports science to support strategy in wheelchair rugby.
