Another fantastic Peak Performance Scotland Social Stroll today! πΆββοΈπΏβοΈ
A great team turnout and a superb effort from all the kids who tackled the trails brilliantly from start to finish. We enjoyed the stunning Banvie Burn around Blair Atholl, taking in some fantastic scenery, fresh air and plenty of good chat along the way.
After earning our steps, we rounded off the morning with a well-deserved lunch at Food in the Park πβπ
A special thank you to Coach Kerri for all the time, effort and organisation that goes into coordinating these social strolls. They are always well planned, welcoming and a fantastic way to bring the PPS community together. We really appreciate everything you do behind the scenes to make these events happen. ππ
Days like these remind us that weβre about much more than fitness sessions. Weβre a community that enjoys getting outdoors, supporting each other and making memories together.

Coach Sarah put us through our paces with the rugby tackle bags this morning involving pulling, squats, press-ups, sit-ups, flipping, and so much more. Who knew you could get such a full-body workout with one big bag? πͺππ₯

π ANOTHER STRONG SESSION IN THE BOOKS! π
Coach Kerri had everyone working hard tonight with a session designed to challenge both the heart and the muscles πͺπ₯
We kicked things off with a 4x4 VO2 Max Workout! A proven training protocol designed to improve cardiovascular fitness and boost VOβ max.
πββοΈ 4 minutes of hard effort
πΆ 3 minutes active recovery
π Repeated 4 times
It might sound simple on paper... but the team will tell you it's a different story when you're in the middle of it! π
The great thing about this style of training is that everyone can work at their own level. Some were jogging, some were running, but everyone was pushing themselves and putting in the effort π
Once we'd got the lungs working, it was time to switch gears for the final 30 minutes with a mix of strength and conditioning exercises to finish the session off strong πͺ
A massive well done to everyone who came along tonight. It wasn't an easy one, but the determination and effort from the group was fantastic to see π
The best part? Everyone worked at their own pace, supported each other and got through it together, exactly what Peak Performance Scotland is all about π

We worked our way around different areas of the park, mixing up the session with some of our fitness test movements along the way. It was a tough workout, but everyone dug in and gave it their all. ππβ€οΈπ
Fantastic to have Colin back training with the team tonight and lovely to get a visit from Katie too. π
Top effort from everyone. We were lucky that the rain stayed off, although letβs be honestβ¦ that wouldnβt have stopped us anyway! π§οΈπ

π§οΈ A little rain was never going to stop us tonight πͺ
When we say no two sessions are the same, we mean it... tonight the logs made an appearance π
πͺ΅
The team took on a series of strength and cardio challenges around the park, combining overhead presses, squats, push-ups, mountain climbers, hill sprints, sit-ups and burpees.
There was plenty of teamwork, communication and encouragement needed throughout, especially when the logs started feeling heavier with every round π
There were even threats of soaking the logs to make them heavier... although we're not sure anyone was volunteering to help with that idea π€£
A massive well done to everyone who took part tonight. You all worked incredibly hard and made the most of every station π
And special mention to Andy G... who may or may not have had a few words to say when the burpees made an appearance π

That's one of the things we love most about Peak Performance Scotland. Every session is different, every session is challenging, but you'll always have your teammates beside you helping you through it π

This morning Coach Sofiia put the team through a challenging full-body workout to set everyone up for the day ahead, and as always the effort and attitude from the team was outstanding. ππ₯
A special mention to Jenny who joined us this morning and did a brilliant job keeping Alexander in check, making sure every rep was completed and with the correct form too! πβ
Itβs always great to see the encouragement, support and good humour that makes our sessions so special.

Another tough and sweaty session at Peak Performance Scotland tonight! πͺπ₯
The team tackled 10 full body workout stations before powering through another 10 ab-focused stations at half time. A real test of strength, fitness and determination from start to finish. π₯΅π
Massive well done to everyone for digging deep and giving it everything tonight, and great to have young Conor joining the team and getting stuck in! ππβ€οΈπ

Coach Julia put the team through a varied and high-energy circuit session tonight, mixing battle ropes, slamballs, shuttles, power bags, weighted plates and bodyweight exercises to keep everyone working hard from start to finish. πͺπ₯
Plenty of sweat, determination and teamwork on display tonight with the whole group pushing each other on and giving maximum effort throughout every station. The atmosphere and camaraderie were brilliant as always, with everyone digging deep and encouraging one another right to the final whistle. π
Massive well done team, strong work all round and great to see everyone continuing to challenge themselves and improve week after week.
