Thrive Perth Meadows

In preschool the children have been very excited and interested in mini beasts. We have been looking after caterpillars and the children are watching and learning about the life cycle of a caterpillar becoming a butterfly and today we had a beautiful surprise of most of our caterpillars have emerged from their cocoons and we now have beautiful butterflies 🦋

We have our next open day this Saturday from 10-12. Please come along and see our beautiful setting. Here at Perth meadows our meals are prepped and cooked within the setting. We cater to all dietary requirements and children have a snack card to indicate their dietary needs. We follow setting the table guidance to ensure our meals are nutritious and well balanced and allowing the children to have access to a variety of foods. Children receive three meals a day we offer breakfast which can be cereal, porridge or toast. The children then receive a hot lunch with a pudding twice a week, they also have an afternoon tea ranging from a baked potato to sandwiches with herby wedges as well as frittatas. Our menus are on a four week rota to provide consistency for all children. Here at Perth meadows we are so grateful for our staff team and their hard work in our setting. We have recently refurbished the staff room to ensure all staff have a welcoming and cosy place to sit and have their lunch and converse with their peers throughout the day. 🩵

Here at Thrive Perth Meadows our children are very excited to share our new friends , our baby caterpillars and ladybirds 🐛🐞

We can’t wait to watch them grow and develop over the next few weeks , whilst we wait patiently the children will be looking at plant and animal life cycles learning about the wider world around them.

we want to wish Saffron a very happy 22nd birthday for tomorrow. Saffron is one. Of our supply members of staff and we can always count on her to come into work with a smile and a can do attitude. Thank you Saffron and have a wonderful birthday tomorrow.

Well done Becky! To receiving the on spot award for this month. Becky has shown dedication and hard work, and has been doing great with supporting the new babies settling into our setting.

Another big thank you to Danny from QTS Northfor making us a wonderful new mud kitchen, the children are already making up some lovely creations ❤️
