Glimmers are the small moments in our day that spark a sense of calm, safety, joy or connection.

Triggers can put our bodies on high alert. Glimmers can help us notice moments where we feel grounded and at ease.

The coolest part? Kindness is contagious. One small act can spread faster than the latest meme.

Have you ever come across the 5-5-5 rule?

This can be a useful tool for deciding whether a thought, situation, or action is worth considering and for how long.

Here's what to ask yourself:

5 minutes - Will this matter in 5 minutes? / Should I take 5 minutes to consider my options/decisions?

5 Days - Will this still bother me in 5 days? / How might I feel if I hold onto this issue for 5 days?

5 Years - Will my decisions, actions or thoughts still be relevant in 5 years / Will this cross my mind in 5 years?

Ruminating can be a very energetic process for your mind and body. Using the 5-5-5 rule may help you to decide whether something is worth that energy or not.
