Barts and The London's Alpine Club is a group for hikers, scramblers, climbers and anyone of any ability who simply wants to escape to the hills. We regularly organise weekend trips to national parks across the country where we stay in huts with beds and showers. As of the week of 16/10/23 we will be introducing a 50% reimbursement scheme to help with the climbing/bouldering session costs. This will only be available to those who have purchased the £40 standard membership. To make full use of this, be sure to collect your receipts from our weekly climbing sessions. You will only be able to claim the reimbursement on sessions you have attended with us. At the end of the month you will be able to issue an expense claim through the QMSU page (instructions on how to do this will follow on our WhatsApp group chat) and you will receive a reimbursement within 2 weeks of issuing the claim. Our most recent trip to Skye!

The group spent seven days hiking, climbing, swimming and enjoying what Skye has to offer. Skye is home to several Munros which many of the team summited during the week.

If you're keen to come next year, save the first week of Easter holidays 2024 in your diaries.

CHANGE OF LOCATION! MEET AT WEST RUISLIP STATION AT 11AMM

We have a wonderful day trip for you this weekend going to the lovely Colne Valley! We'll be meeting at West Ruislip Station at 11 am and travelling to Denham station. You can either buy a ticket online before hand or on the day from a ticket machine, Route hasn't be confirmed yet but we'll be out for most of the day so you will need to bring a packed lunch. Hello everyone, I’m happy to say we’ve found a place for our Christmas Social on the 6th of december at 6pm at the The Woodins Shades near Liverpool Street. The booking is for 15 people for now, but I need to make a downpayment of 150£ to secure it so once we have close to that number I will.
