🎒Back to School & Nursery 2026🎒

As part of our project delivery this year we are running some very exciting community events including Free 'Pick Your Own Pack' pop-up shops and free school uniform basics rails launching in July once the schools are off.

All of these events will be free to attend (donations welcome!) and supporting different schools across Perth and Kinross working in direct partnership with multiple amazing groups!

As a small grassroots charity we appreciate every donation we receive and this Thank You goes to in Perth for their donation of £500 towards our Back to School & Uniform project.

Sidey has funded our ‘additional extras’ in our packs supporting us to buy things like pack lunch boxes, kit bags, water bottles and pencil case supplies for our packs helping us to further reduce the cost of returning to school by giving each child who applies one of these extra items outside of their clothing needs.

Without this kind of support we couldn’t make these extra items happen but we know families and kids really appreciate having them included!

Team Social Flock didn’t win the award last night BUT we did get a special shout out ‘Highly Commened’ for our innovation in the Climate Impact category at the last night!

Our super Board and Rachael our Project Manager had a great time at the awards and got to hear and learn about SO many amazing charities across Scotland doing truly amazing, people-centred, emotion fuelled, integral work for the people of Scotland.

We couldn’t be more thrilled to have been short listed from 335 charities and feel so proud of all the hard work our phenomenal team has done in four short years as a registered charity.

If we learnt anything from last night is that there are enough people, passion, and kindness all across Scotland to continue to work towards a Scotland we can be truly proud of and we’re SO thrilled to be part of the work to make it a reality.

Applications are now open and filling up FAST so we need more donations to make up more packs!

While we need everything on our poster our most needed items are black school jumpers and pencil case supplies.

Please drop them off clean and ready to be re-loved to our donation stations at ASDA (Perth), Tesco (Crieff rd) and our hub on Thursday & Sunday 10-2pm and Tuesday 10-2pm & 4-6pm

Applications are now live!

Please have a read of our FAQs once you have submitted your application, so you know how we are running this year’s project.
We are aiming to provide 1,000 Back to School and 200 Back to Nursery packs, based on demand. Applications are submitted on a first come, first served basis.
We expect our applications to reach their capacity within 10 days, if not sooner.

🎉It's time to celebrate Volunteers Week 2026! 🎉

Without our volunteers Social Flock couldn't run like we do. They are essential in our madness and cover a range of roles.

What do our Volunteers do?
In Hub they sort clothing donations, make up clothing packs and help keep the banter alive 😂
At home we have volunteers who wash clothes and do mending so that we can make use of almost everything that is donated! ♻
In the community our volunteers deliver your packs all across Perth and Kinross ensuring that nobody misses out due to their location! 🫶

We want to thank every single person who has volunteered with us and we hope you know how much we appreciate and value you! 💚
