Are we returning to normality and if so what is it? Well here is some evidence. I walked Dovedale in the Peak District yesterday and it was the quietest I've ever known it. Good for Mindfulness, contemplation and a peaceful space! Clambering for shopping and the pub? Forget it! :)

Springtime at Wollaton Park and the Bluebells are out! On a walk yesterday I noticed the Fallow Deer (there are about 120 in the Park at present) grazing in the woods. A fantastic sight and very serene. I'm so fortunate to say that the wonderful natural World is truly on my doorstep. Please share with me any pictures you have. Forget Springwatch, just go to your local park or open space:)

A holiday on the Norfolk Coast, memorable. Here I am at Holkham Beach enjoying the spring sun:) The word "amaaaazing" is much mis used these days but the long beaches, sound of the sea and endless sand dunes really were. Even had time to do some beach combing so brought some nice sea shells back for the garden. Sounds like this is the year to make the most of the UK for holidays and short breaks and I intend to!

Nottingham by the Sea! Yes we may be miles and miles from the Coast but we make up for it in beautiful Parks and Lakes. A great walk today at Highfields Park (Nottingham University), memorable:)

Today there was loads of people at Wollaton Park all having fun and why not! The only thing I noticed was the "jewel" some of them missed. The magnificent close up sight of Wollaton Hall, only 433 years old! It looks like an iced cake and I never get tired of looking at the old place as there's always something new to see as its brimming with symbolic detail, have a closer look next time you visit. I would definitely recommend it!

Its been a tough year all round but Covid restrictions are easing and long may it continue for all. I'm planning to get Walking Tours back and looking forward to meeting visitors to Nottingham and showing them our wonderful historic City. Here is taster from a tour itinerary but where in Nottingham am I?

Its been a tough year for tours in 2020 due to Covid, however things seem to easing up and its great to get back and show visitors what a great City we have in Nottingham although it was a bit surreal! Here is a photo taken at the end of a recent tour. A great deal of fun was had by all, nice people!

The Government say we can go out once a day for exercise which of course is sensible in the current situation. So here I am pretending to pole dance at the slalom course at Holme Pierrepont National Watersports Centre. Cycled from Wollaton there and back with an old friend. A great day out...:)

SPRING IS SPRUNG! A heard of Red Deer grazing at Wollaton Park near the Parkside Entrance. What a sight on a lovely Spring day. We are so lucky in Nottingham to have a park where Deer have grazed for 700 years!
