We’re reopening auditions to join RadioOctave!!!
Although we’re particularly keen to find some more gorgeous lower voices, all vocal ranges and abilities are welcome!

Audition Info (what to send):

💙 We’d love to see a video of you singing any song of your choice (for about a minute)

💙 A video showing off your vocal range (using scales if possible)

💙 A little bit about you! This includes any music experience you’ve had (although this is not required)

We know auditioning can be daunting, but we just want to see how amazing you are!! Please prepare over 30 seconds of any song you’d like to really show off your voice. We will also be doing a range test, a blend test and an optional sight reading test but we will explain each of these on the day. There’s no need to have any formal musical background or be able to read music- we are just looking for fun, passionate singers who are ready to learn!! Hope to see you all there! 💙💙💙

ICCA ‘25 QF⚡️💙

I couldn’t be prouder of this group of insanely talented people! It has been such a privilege to be your MD this year, and seeing all our hard work come to life on the ICCA stage was truly beautiful. A big thank you to my fellow MD !

Chris is a 3rd year Computer Science student, this is not his first year of A Ca****la but it is his first year with RadioOctave!! He is the Tech officer for the A Ca****la Society, and he loves to play piano and double bass in his free time!💙

Freddie is a 3rd year Liberal Arts student, and he’s returning to RadioOctave as an MD! He’s a Yeovil fan through and through, and when he’s not singing you can find him playing hockey as he’s also geogsoc captain!!💙

Next we have the Bari’s…⚡️

Alex is a 1st year Economics and Philosophy student, and this is his first year of A Ca****la, he may wear blue for RO but he supports Arsenal, and his favourite artist is Kid Laroi!💙

James is a 1st year Mechanical Engineering student, and he’s returning to RadioOctave! He’s always helping set the tech up to make us sound good, and has been listening to a lot of Maroon 5 lately!💙

Ben is a 4th year French Studies student, and this is his first year in RadioOctave! His favourite food is sushi🍣

Oli is a Maths Graduate, this is his second year in RadioOctave, and his favourite artist is Bring Me The Horizon!!💙

Freddy is a Biotechnology Graduate, and this is his second year in RadioOctave. His favourite artist is Hozier!💙

Tilly is a 2nd year Law student, returning to the group! Her favourite artist is Arctic Monkeys, and she is also General Secretary of the A Ca****la Society!!💙

Imo is a Languages Graduate, and this is her third year as part of RadioOctave! Her favourite artist is Noah Kahan!!💙

T**i is a 1st year Politics and International Relations student, this is her first year of a ca****la. Her favourite artist is Gracie Abrams!💙

Zoe is a 2nd year medicine student, and this is her first year in RadioOctave. Her favourite artist is Reneé Rapp, and she loves to play the piano in her spare time!!💙

Emma is a 1st year architecture student, and this is also her first year of a ca****la! She is our resident theme park expert, and number one disney fan!!💙

Mollie is a 1st year Criminology and Sociology student, this is her first year of a ca****la, and her favourite artist is Teddy Swims!💙

Maia is a 3rd year philosophy and psychology student, she’s returning to the group this year as an MD. Her favourite artist is Taylor Swift, and she’s also Vice-President of the A Ca****la Society!!💙
