β³οΈ Can you help us make a difference to the lives of second chance learners in Nottingham?
We're currently looking for raffle and auction prizes for our upcoming SCLA Charity Golf Day at Wollaton Park Golf Club on the 3rd of July.
Every prize donated, whether it's a gift voucher, experience, product, service or hamper will help us raise vital funds to support Second Chance Learners across Nottingham. π
At SCLA, we work with people who face barriers to education, employment and opportunities, helping them to build confidence, develop new skills and create a positive future. Your donation will help make this support possible. π
We are grateful for prize donations of any size or if your business would like to support the event by sponsoring a hole, we'd love to hear from you.
π Contact Chloe on 07399 630885 to discuss prize donations.
Thank you for helping us change lives through learning.

π Happy Volunteersβ Week π
Today, we're celebrating the incredible volunteers who help make Second Chance Learning Academy what it is.
We're particularly proud that our volunteers are all former learners who have experienced first-hand the impact of equipped2succeed and our support and now choose to help others to do the same.
Many of our volunteers use their own experiences to inspire, encourage and support people who may be facing challenges.
Every hour volunteered, every conversation shared and every act of kindness helps someone in Nottingham have a second chance. π
Thank you for choosing to be part of the SCLA community - we couldn't do what we do without you. Beverley Burton

Last week we had a really positive meeting with Josh Davis from Notts County Foundation Youth Hub to discuss how we can collaborate to support young people across Nottingham. π Notts County Foundation
We are really keen to collaborate helping young people build confidence, develop employability skills, improve wellbeing, and access opportunities that support their future goals.
Meaningful collaboration between organisations creates a stronger support network for young people in Nottingham, bringing together different experiences, knowledge and approaches allows us to reach more people and create greater impact. π
Weβre so excited about the potential opportunities ahead and look forward to continuing conversations about how we can support one another and the young people we work with.
