🚨 VAT IS THE PROBLEM 🚨

The UK hospitality industry is under more pressure than ever.

We’re facing rising costs across the board — increased business rates, higher National Insurance contributions, rising wage costs, and a hospitality VAT rate of 20%, one of the highest in Europe. Most of our European competitors benefit from significantly lower hospitality VAT rates, helping them invest, grow and remain competitive.

Hospitality is the heart of our communities. It creates jobs, supports local economies, and brings people together. We’re proud to contribute to this country, but the playing field needs to be fair.

That’s why we’re supporting the campaign to reduce hospitality VAT to 10%.
