A short clip of something I started working on last year. Haven't payed guitar all that much this year, mostly been on bass duties but this is lovely to play. Sounds complex but it's relatively simple. There's some tougher changes to remember later in the song but that's the most complex thing about it. I call it, "Take On The World"

Just thinking about how long it’s been since the last gig… it’s been a good couple of months now 🥲
I’m really missing the gigging feeling but haven’t been well enough to push myself back into it just yet.
I’m still working on a handful of new songs to add to the new original set and have a few new covers to throw in.
When it comes down to pushing this all as a band project it may take a bit more time than I thought. I was hoping to get a lot of it sorted while I’ve been away from work but I haven’t been comfortable enough to focus with illness and pain.
I’m still hoping I could possibly get to at least a couple of open mics before Christmas and the New Year, although I’m aware that we’re at that time of year now where it all comes around rather fast.

I’ve been a little quiet.
I’ve had to take a bit of a break from chipping away at all my chord reference sheets and lyrics since I’ve just not had much time for myself.
I’ll be back to resuming all this next week though, it may take me a while 😅
Still on the lookout for musicians that may be interested in working with me - currently still guitarists/bassists is what in search for but happy hear from any interest since it’s still early days.
Here’s some lyrics from a new song that I’ve been working on over the last few weeks. I’m hoping to get a demo of this recorded soon now I have the structure ready!
