Blowsoc features a variety of different ensembles, two auditioned and seven non-auditioned, made up of Wind, Brass and Percussion players from the University of Nottingham. There are numerous managerial and conducting opportunities, including being involved in the professionally conducted Wind Orchestra. We hold numerous concerts throughout the year, ranging from jazz by the Moonlighters Big Band

Well, what a year we’ve had!
🥇 Our winning the Shield and Best Solo at UniBrass
🌙 Our partaking in the Battle of the Bands, alongside many incredible concerts
🪄 Our UoN Wind Orchestra putting on two fantastic concerts led by Ian Batley
🇧🇪 Our fabulous tour to Belgium with our pals
🎵 Our Concert Band and Small Ensembles growing and enjoying new music
🥗 Our weekly Lunchtime Concerts continuing to entertain audiences
📹 Our Christmas Extravaganza and Spring Bonanza collectively reaching nearly 1000 views on YouTube

We had so much fun playing our tour pieces, we want to do it all again! Join us on Saturday 6th June in the Djanogly Recital Hall to hear some absolute tunes!

Saturday 13th June, our Final Encore concert will be held at Holy Trinity Church in Lenton, starting at 2pm.
