Oh, by the way, when I first started looking to do this I read and followed instructions from many sites, downloaded many apps and NONE of them worked. They 'may' work in some instances but neither was able to recover the video files from the card NOR were they able to repair the resulting video files (MP4 files are tough to repair).

I set this page up as I had one of my drivers (I'm a race driver coach) was desperate to recover video from an SD card. He took it to 3 places, local tech guy, local tech shop and online 'specialist' recovery company.

The first 2 said 'sorry, nothing I can do, you've lost it all'

The 3rd said 'It's very corrupt but we can probably rescue something, send us £200 and we'll have a go but it might be more'

I said, give it to me, I'll have a go, you never know. All the video is now fully recovered, even older video that had been deleted. He already pays me as a driver coach so not looking to charge him but thought there must be many others with similar issues. I'll 'have a go' which on this occasion was successful where all others failed or wanted to charge up from with no guarantee.

If I CAN recover it, I will, I'll let you know how long it took me and we'll come up with some suitable recompense.
