✏️ The Blob Brush and Vector Erase tools bring a brush-based approach to building and refining vector shapes, letting you draw filled shapes directly onto the canvas and reshape them as you go.

🔤 SVG font support is now in the mix too, with colour, texture and transparency that traditional fonts can’t support.

📸 RAW processing also got a serious upgrade: new Object Selection, Luminosity, Hue Range and Compound masks, selectable tone curve methods, focus peaking, remembered sharpening and tone curve settings, plus improved panorama, merge and stacking workflows.

📷 Capture One now opens directly in Affinity, so your full edit carries through. Layers, masks, metadata, annotations, all of it. No rebuilding, no cleanup.

🎬 DaVinci Resolve supports native Affinity .af files. Drop your designs straight into your timeline. Update the file in Affinity and Resolve refreshes it automatically. No re-export, no relinking.

🤖 The new Affinity AI Connector for Claude. Describe any repetitive workflow once and it becomes a reusable script. Batch editing, print prep, layer renaming, handled. You can even build features inside Affinity that didn't exist before.

🎥 Cavalry is now free with your Canva account. Motion and 2D animation is now part of your creative toolkit.
