The week isn’t over yet 🩵🩷

There are still smiles to share, friendships to build, games to play and little breakthroughs waiting to happen.

It’s often the smallest moments that end up meaning the most.

Tell us something that’s made you smile this week.

It’s rarely the big, dramatic moments that stick with me, it’s the quiet ones.

Earlier this week, a young girl I’ve been working with came by with a surprise: two drawings of my dog, Dougie and my cat, Cooper.

They remembered me talking about them and went home and turned that memory into art.

Seeing that level of kindness and thoughtfulness from a nine year old was such a grounding experience. It reminded me that the best part of running this business isn’t just the work, but the connections we make along the way.

Thank you to my thoughtful little friend for the kindness that truly made my week. 🩵🩷

Lauren had Daisy three weeks before the lockdown hit.

And she's honest that for her, in that specific season of her life, the world going quiet was exactly what she needed. No pressure. No visitors. Not having to perform being ok for anyone. Just her and her baby and space to breathe.

She's the first to say that wasn't everyone's experience and she holds that lightly.

But for Lauren it was the first time she genuinely felt like she could enjoy being a mum and after everything she'd been through to get there, that mattered so much.

Sometimes the hardest part is just getting there.

The packing, the timing, the second guessing whether you should just stay home instead.

And then you do go. A bit flustered, maybe late, probably carrying more than you planned to.

But once you’re there, something shifts. You’re not the only one juggling it all. You’re not the only one who found it hard to leave the house.

And that can take the edge off the day more than you’d expect.

A bit of conversation, a change of scene and a reminder that you’re in good company.
But you can also just sit and connect with your little one, there is absolutely no pressure!

We don’t talk about this enough…

Infant Mental Health Awareness Week often focuses on the importance of connection, attachment and responsive parenting. And rightly so.

But sometimes parents hear those messages and feel pressure instead of reassurance.

The reality is that babies don’t need perfection. All they need is relationships. Caregivers who love them, comfort them and repair those inevitable moments when things don’t go to plan.

If you’ve ever worried that you’re not doing enough, this is your reminder that showing up, again and again, matters more than getting it right every time. 🩷🩵

What if it goes better than you think?

It’s so easy to get caught up in the “what ifs” of parenting, trying something new, meeting other parents or bringing your little one to a class for the first time.

But what if…

🩵 Your baby loves it.
🩷 You meet someone who gets exactly how you’re feeling.
🩵 You leave feeling lighter, more confident and less alone.
🩷 You make memories you’ll look back on and smile.

Sometimes the best moments begin with a simple “let’s give it a go.”

Save this for the days when self doubt creeps in and remember: the good “what ifs” deserve space too. 🌈

Share this with someone who’s overthinking taking that first step!

T H A N K Y O U

It’s hard out there for a lot of people right now, with the cost of living rising and everything feeling a bit more stretched than usual.

So I just wanted to say a really simple thank you.

To everyone who supports Little Legs in any way, attending classes, booking courses, recommending us, sharing posts, or just being here...

I see it and I appreciate it more than you probably realise.

This community means a lot 🩷🩵
