If you're local to Nottingham, you might have seen the news about the new footbridge that has been built over the River Trent.

What you might not have heard was the social value it has generated in the local community.

We were privileged to partner with Balfour Beatty cleaning the construction site 🤝 This partnership created 1000 hours of real Living Wage for our team member, pictured here. That's a 20 hour part-time role providing financial stability, and the opportunity for sustainable life-change, for a over a year 💪

It was wonderful to be able to celebrate all this project has accomplished, and to work alongside some pretty amazing people in the process 🎉

Matt and Connie had a lovely day The Workplace Event a couple of weeks back. It was great to meet potential new customers, catch-up with existing ones, and even connect with some of our fellow social enterprise friends!

We're pleased to share that, across the three social enterprises (Radiant Cleaners, Half the Story and Jubilee Events) that make up Grace Enterprises, we created a combined total of over 22,000 hours of real Living Wage work in 2025 💪

We recently attended our first Nottingham Partners event, focused on youth employment and the challenges facing those not in education, employment, or training (NEET). A key takeaway was the importance of holistic support in helping young people not just secure jobs, but sustain them, an approach that sits at the heart of everything we do at Radiant Cleaners 💪

We’re excited to see how this network will support our growth and enable us to learn from other local business and public sector leaders.
