I am doing a social trip to Burton On Trent on Friday 5th June leaving on the 11.41 train returning on an open ticket valid after 18.16. This is for the Burton Ale Trail at various pubs and we can also take in Outwoods Brewing Co. Tap .

Nottingham CAMRA Mild Trail 1st – 31st May 2026
Our ever-popular Mild Trail returns for the month of May. This year it features 20 pubs serving a mild, plus there is space for Wild Card entries if you find a pub in the Nottingham area serving Mild but not on the Trail. All entrants can claim a free pint at this year’s Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival which will be held at the Trent Bridge Cricket Ground from 7th to 10th October.

2026 Nottingham LocAle Pub of the Year Vote:
The winners of Area 1 were:
- The Plough, Radford;
- The Lion, Basford;
- The Pilgrim Oak, Hucknall.
All three will now move on to the final vote in 2026.
(NB: This is the first time a Wetherspoons pub has reached the final).
