Massive thanks to all artists who kindly donated, all who came, super skilled Nottingham henna artist, multi talented musician and singer Iryna Muha, refugees and chefs at Nottingham Refugee Forum for the best samosas, pakora and salads ever tasted, friends and family for all their support curating and hosting the auction.

There'll be food, music and beautiful Mehndi by Mehndi Artist Sidrah, who loves embellishing people’s hands, arms and feet with henna and bringing smile on their faces.

"Henna is a form of decorative ancient art that has been around Eastern countries for centuries and is still a part of their culture. Henna is a product of nature so it has healing properties and is aesthetically pleasing. Henna art is therapeutic hence always rewarding work for me. I look forward to meeting new people and bringing joy to their lives through my art."

📢 Multi-award award-winning artist Mandy Payne kindly donated this limited edition Giclee print for our event on October 11th.

Mandy's work is known for exploring brutalist architecture, and utopia, finding beauty in the ordinary or overlooked.

"I am inspired by the urban landscape, issues of gentrification, inequality, social housing and the flux of city environments."

SILENT AUCTION & EXHIBITION
October 11 from 6pm till 9pm

We are excited to announce an exclusive fundraising event in collaboration with Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Refugee Forum.

Artists and designers have kindly offered to support the Silent Auction by donating original artwork, textiles, pre-loved designer clothes and far more.

All proceeds will go directly to the Women’s Group which empowers refugee women through weekly sessions, encouraging creativity, English language practice, confidence building and friendship.

Silent Auction commences 6pm and ceases 8pm.
Winning bidders will be contacted and able to collect on Saturday 12th from 12noon till 3pm at Thirtyfive Gamble.
