Fresh plaster needs to be mist coated (50/50 water and paint) otherwise the paint peeling back off the plaster is inevitable. This wall has a tiny chip but it ended up having the whole wall stripped of paint and starting again. Products for this type of situation include: zinsser peel stop, toupret filler, zinsser bin aqua, 120 and 180 sandpaper, Leyland trade pure brilliant white. The whole wall was mist coated, then any dents filled, sanded, primed and then painted with 2 top coats, both still slightly watered down. So worth seeing the end result 🤩

A nice freshen up for this customer. There was some repair work needed on the skirting where cracks were appearing but now with the right products and approach cracking woodwork is a thing of the past 😄
