We can finally announce that a local, independent/family business is taking over our beloved shop and we look forward to supporting them during this next exciting phase 🥰

After 11 wonderful years in Old Post Office Yard we have a new home. We are delighted to announce we are moving to what was Mees Electrical, a wonderful family business of 60 years ! Dizzyware in its second decade is proud to call 5 Market Street Bingham our new home and cannot wait to welcome you all.

Since losing Dad 10years ago, there has been alot we’ve had to consolidate, to allow us to continue in a very difficult industry and to do ‘the right thing’ for our staff, suppliers and customers✔️
Whilst running the business, our first job was to clear/sell our old service department, then to clear/sell our second shop and lastly to clear/sell part of our Bingham Shop, leaving only No5, which we could then re-roof and refurbish. Lastly and more recently clearing, ready to rent No5.
All of this clearance and 60YRS of stuff, kept going to our beloved rented warehouse and we knew that one day, we’d have to tackle clearing everything there🙈. That day came 6weeks ago, when we decided to stop trading and I’m glad to say that, today, we have managed to empty it and will be handing the keys back to our fabulous landlord/friend on Monday. Bittersweet! Glad the masses of hard work is done, but sad that we’ve had to say goodbye to many years of family history and a piece of my heart💕

We’ve had a very busy week!😅
Mark and myself, with help from our son🥰, have now completely emptied the shop and thoroughly cleaned outside the back🧹🫧🧽, which was a messy job!😮‍💨 Now taking Vinyls off and Signage to come, whilst keeping on top of all the office work✍️
Then we need to start sorting the warehouse (stock gone, but 60years of stuff to sort🙈) Shop looks sad😞, but we’re looking forward to getting some lovely tenants in, who will bring the sparkle back!💖, so watch this space!🤗

We have made the very difficult decision to make this our last financial year, as Electrical Retailers, on our 60th year of trading!
From May-June, although the shop door will be shut, we will still be available for support and taking calls on 01949 838597, whilst we start the huge task of closing our beloved trade down.
We are keeping our phone number going for as long as possible, to help with the transition and give time to answer questions and reflect on our many years with you and we will continue to post on our social media page.
May we take this opportunity to thank our wonderful customers/friends, it has been an absolute honour to serve you for the last 60YRS!
We will still see you, in our wonderful community and remember, if you want to chat with us, we are still here💕
