It’s lovely to see photographs of people receiving my shadow boxes.
This beautiful lady was given this shadow box as a 40th birthday present; apparently there were tears of happiness.

🦁 “Meet me at the Lion’s” 🦁

My very first ever shadow/light box.
Also my very own design, which was purposely made for my father. The design has a very special meaning and a story behind it.

On my Mum and Dad’s first date back in the 1960’s they met outside the Nottingham Council House. If anyone knows Nottingham in the UK, it is a well known tradition to meet people at “The Lions”; two huge lion statues which are situated outside the council house, whether you are going on a date or just meeting friends.

My father told me that it was like a ‘Cinderella fairy tale’ moment when he met my mum and I wanted to capture that in a shadow box for him.

My mum passed away on the 19th October after only being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on the 31st August. She died within 6 weeks from diagnosis.
Crafting has kept me sane through these past few months which have been absolute hell; making something helps to take your mind off reality even if it’s for just a few moments.

Welcome to All Things Handmade By Sam.

Since being a child I have always been creative. I don’t tend to just have one type of craft that I follow as I like to push myself and see what I can make with my own fair hands. At this present moment I am really enjoying making shadow/light boxes.

All items that I place on my page will be available to purchase, details will be shared in that particular post.

🔸Not suitable for young children. These items are decorative pieces and not toys.

🔸Local collection available (Nottingham, Uk)

🔸Delivery (not included in price) UK ONLY

🔸All items are hand made to order so please do allow time for this and also for delivery. An estimated time will be given when ordered.
Orders will usually take no more than 7days to make and then delivery will be on top of this.

🔸Orders that are posted will be sent with a tracking reference number. Once a parcel has left me I have no control over the courier and their delivery times. I will always provide a tracking reference so you can track your item.

🔸Returns and exchanges are not accepted, however please contact me if there are any problems with your order.
