Some interesting reading?!?
What do you parents think?
No - schools don’t kill reading for pleasure - enough of the teacher-blaming!
This headline just isn’t accurate.
‘School literacy targets cause slump in reading for pleasure’
No evidence of cause. No recognition that schools help children learn to read & read to learn - a prerequisite for enjoyment. Other factors raised like technology.
