Happy New Year to everyone.
We will be back in the not too distant future with a new single and album.
Our single ‘A Day Within A Day’ released last May has made a reappearance back in the Itisnow Radio Station Top 40 and currently sits at Number 4. Thanks Marcus for your continued work and dedication.
Onwards we go in 2026 marking 40 years of recording since the beginnings in 1986. The passion for music never dies just sometimes it has to be put on the back burner so we can recharge.

Not quite sure what’s next for 2 Electric Blue. Marie and I have been so busy with a house move that we haven’t had much time for music. We’ve had a great couple of years thanks to Marcus at Itisnow Radio Station, Synth City - with Rob Harvey, Bamlett Music And The Spark and Jan Hargrove on her Wonderful Electric show. We’ve been let down by people who promised us gigs, had to pull out of D.H Lawrence Festival this year for reasons as said above, but not getting picked for Oxjam Beeston Music Festival was a bit harsh especially having played the last 3 years, bringing lots of friends and family donations with us and of course being very very local and when emailing and asking why getting no reply.
Have so much more to give but maybe a change of direction needed. The enthusiasm has dwindled a touch after the knock backs but anyone who knows us will know we don’t ever give in. We don’t have a great circle of friends but a great family.
The 5 number 1’s we had were everything to us and we thank all the people who took time to vote for us. We’ve had plenty of upset too, losing 2 really close family members Mum and Jamie in the last 3 years. That and a few health issues, the music kept us going.
To top it all we are in dispute with our distributor and Spotify who have taken down our album ‘Inside The Mind Of A Broken Soul’ because they say it has had “artificial plays” which is complete nonsense. The album had received probably just over 10,000 plays (1000+ per track) so not like we made any money from it. 😂
The album is still available on Bandcamp 👍

So what next?
Who knows?
All I do know is our love for the music, composing, producing, gigging will never die.
It may not be 2 Electric Blue but convinced it could be something else.
