Today marks 12 months since I made one of the bravest decisions of my life.

This time last year, I was packing what I could into my car with no clear plan, just a deep knowing that I couldn’t stay.

I remember how scared I was.
The adrenaline.
The not knowing how I was going to get through it…
but knowing, deep down, that I would.

And somehow…I did.

Today I feel emotional — not from grief,
but from disbelief.

From looking back at that version of me and realising just how brave she was.

And from so much gratitude towards her…
for choosing something different, even when it felt impossible.

Because leaving was only the beginning.

What came after was learning how to rebuild.

Learning how to sit with myself.
To observe my thoughts, my reactions, the patterns I was living in.
To understand where they came from….and take responsibility for changing them.

Not from blame.
From power.

Because when you’ve lived in survival for so long,
it takes a different kind of courage to choose healing.

To slow down.
To look inward.
To do the work to ensure those patterns don’t keep repeating.

Not just for me, but for my child too.

This past year hasn’t been easy.
But it’s been real.
And it’s changed me in ways I couldn’t have imagined back then.

And today, I’m just so proud of her for starting this journey.

I’m no longer that the same woman who left. I’m the woman who rebuilt her, day by day.

There’s still more to learn.
More to grow through.
More to build.

But for now, I sit in awe, and in gratitude for what has been 🫶

This has been one of the biggest lessons for me over the past year.

I used to think growth meant feeling good all the time.
Staying positive. Staying ā€œhigh vibe.ā€

But real growth asked me to sit with the parts of myself I’d spent years avoiding.

The overthinking.
The patterns.
The reactions I didn’t understand.
The parts of me I thought were ā€˜bad’

And instead of judging them or trying to push them away…I had to learn how to face them.

Not to stay stuck in them.
Not to let them define me.

But to understand them, move through them, and lead myself differently.

That’s the difference.

This work isn’t about living in the light.
It’s about being able to step into the shadow…
and not lose yourself there.

That’s where everything started to change for me.

Can you relate?

Booked a girls trip to Spain āœˆļø
We were up early, bags packed, fully ready for sunshine and sangria…

Got to the airport feeling all smug and organised…
only to find out the passport had expired šŸ˜šŸ˜‚

We just stood there like…no this can’t actually be happening.

She told me to still go without her…but absolutely not! What’s a girls trip without your girl?!

So instead of boarding a flight to Spain…
we turned around, got the bus back to Loughborough and went for Nando’s and coffee instead ā˜•ļøšŸ—

Not quite the trip we had planned…
but honestly, still a 10/10 day šŸ˜‚

I’ve been quiet for a few weeks.

Life got heavy.
I lost my gran.
There’s been relationship stuff.
And I’ve had a lot going on behind the scenes.

But something felt different this time.

I didn’t spiral.
I didn’t react.
I didn’t abandon myself.

I listened.

When everything was happening, my intuition was loud.

She told me:
– work can wait
– be present with your family
– pause before reacting
– get curious instead of reactive

And for the first time… I actually listened.

No anger.
No forcing.
No trying to control the outcome.

Just a deep knowing of what felt right for me…
and trusting that without needing to push or prove anything.

I’ve never met life like this before.

And that’s the difference this work creates.

It’s not about having a perfect life.

It’s about trusting yourself enough
to navigate whatever life throws at you.

Some truths don’t feel comfortable at first…
but they change everything.

This work isn’t about fixing yourself.

It’s about recognising where you’ve been living from old patterns, old identities, and old versions of you, and deciding you’re no longer here for that.

If one of these hit, don’t ignore it…that’s your next level calling you forward.

If you’re ready to stop repeating the same patterns
and step into something new…

This month we’ve been celebrating International Women’s Day — a reminder of the power, strength and resilience women carry every single day.

But empowerment isn’t just a nice quote on social media.

It’s the moment a woman decides she’s done living from old patterns…
done shrinking herself…
done doubting what she knows she’s capable of.

In honour of International Women’s Day month, I’m opening 3 complimentary coaching calls over the next two weeks.

These are 45 minute Identity Clarity Calls for women who feel like they’re at a turning point in their life but can’t quite see the next step yet.

On the call we’ll look at:

• The identity you’re currently operating from
• The patterns or beliefs keeping you stuck
• What needs to shift internally for your life to move forward

These calls are not a surface level chat — they’re for women who are genuinely ready to explore what’s next for them.

If that feels like you, you can book one of the 3 spaces through the link in my bio.

This is the map.

If you don’t do this now, when exactly will the ā€˜perfect time’ arrive? Because your current identity is an expert at waiting.

Are you ready to walk it? DM MAP and let’s get started.

Don’t let 2026 be a repeat of 2025 🫶
