Silverstone Rcmcc

Bob Williams formed Silverstone Buggy Club (SBC) around 30 years ago. The original racing venue was a back garden in Silverstone village.

As the club expanded and more and more people got into Model Car Racing the club outgrew the back garden in Silverstone Village and was forced to move to a new larger venue. The sports hall at Sponne School in Towcester became the new home for Silverstone Buggy Club for the next few years. Several years later the club started up outdoor racing once again. Friday practice.
Doors open at 11am (not before)
Practice starts at 12 noon (timed group practice) until 5.30pm
Note!! No food wagon on site. Bring your own food, or shops in Moulton village and fast food 10-15min drive away.
Please pit sensibly.

Saturday 2wd race day.
Doors open at 8am
Doors close at 5.30pm
Cafe will be open 8am to 2pm

Sunday 4wd race day.
Doors open at 8am
Trophies once track is packed away.
Cafe will be open 8am to 2pm

Friday food is bring your own or there is a chip shop in the village or Mc’ds is 10-15 drive.

We’ve tried to do the heat lists based on last year and slotting people in based on ability given on the entry. If anyone thinks then are massively out of place then please let us know on Friday.

Qube RC will be on site with their shop all 3 days.

Megan Upton will be having a cake sale on Friday (and possibly Saturday) to raise money for her prom, please help her out by spending a few pounds, who doesn’t like cake!!

Saturday 27th

Doors will open at 8am.

We have half the track to finish changing.

Practise will start around 8.30. This will be open for an hour and half so plenty of time.

Racing will start at 10am with 4 rounds of qualifying and 1 final.

All aiming to be done by 3.30pm at the latest and packed away by 4pm
