Bungalow Build

Spent some time un-cupping some wood in order to build the drawer tops in the walk in wardrobe. Happy with how it turned out 😜🪵🧦

Starting oil the office/stock room/reflexology room, we really need a better name for this room 😂. Osmo oil stain used via a da machine. Once dry, we will top with to costs of OSMO Poly-X 🛢️🪵🧱🏡 osmopolyx

Well, we now have a drive. A huge thanks to the boys at NP diggers for their hard work and putting up with me. 😂😂🚙🧱 life.

Cabinets for the office delivered today. A quick organise and then on to build some bases for them. There is a light at the end of the tunnel now, dim but there 💡🔅📍✏️ cabinets

What will be the office for myself and Mrs Bungalowboy is coming on nicely. Electrics sorted, plastered and painted. Just need to get the units sorted. This is a priority at the moment. Hopefully some more updates later this week or early next 🚪📍📤✏️

After a long haul, the front door is finally on. A huge thanks to the boys and girls at for the awesome service and superior fitting skills. Can highly recommend them 👊🏻🚪🪟

When your kitchen is full of, well, kitchen 🤪
A delivery from Howdens in Brackmills today, I have to say, their service has been exceptional and the driver a proper darling 😂

That’s the upstairs flooring sorted. Stairs landing and bedroom carpeted and following down in the bathroom. We can now move our furniture upstairs and start living like normal people, well, as normal as one can without a kitchen. A massive thanks to in Towcester for suppling and fitting the carpet, an awesome company to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble 😂😂😂

That’s the shelf behind the bed templated, cut, oiled and fitted. One piece of oak, oiled with 4 very very thin layers of OSMO PolyX and fitted. Just waiting on carpet and then we can move up there. 🛏️🪵😜😍

Bathroom is nearly complete. All counter tops finished, wood oiled and finished, bath, basin, shower and toilet in. Just a few bits such as cupboard doors to finish. The end is totally insight now. Just those 62 million little jobs to finish. A big shout out to that sexy plumber Bateman of Bateman Property Services for fitting the santitryware today 🤩👊🏻🛁🧽🚿🚽🧻🪵🔚🔦
