The course costs £70 and is the perfect for new umpires to gain the key skills to stand as an umpire.

A huge milestone for cricket in Northamptonshire! 🏏
On Friday evening, we were delighted to visit Desborough Town CC to celebrate Jenson, who has become the 2,000th National Programme Participant in Northamptonshire! 🌟
Reaching 2,000 sign-ups is a fantastic achievement and the highest number we've ever recorded, making this a truly special moment for cricket across the county. 🙌
To mark the occasion, Jenson received a special celebration and has also been invited to be a matchday mascot at the Northamptonshire Steelbacks vs Worcestershire Rapids fixture on 9th June! 🎊
Congratulations, Jenson, and thank you to everyone who has helped make this record-breaking milestone possible. Here's to inspiring even more young people to get involved in cricket! 💙🏏
