After more than a week now of online lessons being the only method of teaching, most students are settling down into being able to use Bitpaper online in combination with Zoom. Both have facilities for sharing whiteboard space, but Bitpaper is better for this - and I can preload worksheets and question papers into the shared space. If the student has an iPad or tablet they may find it easier to hand write on the screen using a stylus - otherwise a combination of mouse and typing on a computer can still work well. This morning's maths lesson combined the standard expression for a straight line graph - y=mx+c - with a link to sequences and exchange rates. I always look for links between different areas of the curriculum for applying the same mathematical concepts.

With all of the upheaval of school closures everyone's timetable is probably a little chaotic. I've added an automatic session booking button to my page so you can choose your own times. Please be aware that I will have to manually approve each booking to start with to ensure there are no problems with time clashes. I'm hoping that eventually I'll be able to have it automated with fully up to date information so you can book sessions automatically.
