🎤 The fantastic Val Bilton Singer will be singing from 5pm.

📖 Tees Women Poets take over from 7pm with an evening of poetry, creativity and inspiration.

🍽️ Complimentary food platters on every table from 7pm.

🎁 Gift bags for every paying customer after 5pm. Limited numbers available, so be sure to arrive early!

🕛 Doors open at 12pm.

Well we'll be hosting Tees Women Poets as part of story telling week!

More details of what else we'll be doing on the day to follow!

Announcement; We will be performing The Keen and Other Stories on Saturday 27th June, 7pm-9.30pm as Part of Middlesbrough Storytelling Festival!

Come along for an evening of lyrical storytelling from the Tees Women Poets, spanning local lives, traditional and contemporary folklore, hauntology - and a curated open mic of five readers only, one poem per person, all poems to tell a story - to request a slot please email your poem to [email protected]

Our First Featured artist is Carmen Marcus, with her poem The Keen:

Maeve is Donegal's last and worst Keening woman. She has one job! To sing the souls of the departed from here to the Other Side. But she can't because - well it's complicated. And now there's a queue of the dead waiting in the back room of The Crossroads bar and they're not happy about it. Expect ghosts, dark humour and a hot priest.
