After a few weeks of doing bits, managed to get a comp in last weekend. Happy to get to the final, although didn’t perform well when needed to.. positives to take away was again not loosing a group game, some solid legs and maximums when needed. After 2 and a bit weeks off darts due various things and an illness, I wasn’t sure what to expect last night…. Last minute entry and probably thrown 30 odd practice darts over the last few weeks, I’ll take that result! After a disappointing loss in the qtr finals on Saturdays rise event, honestly wasn’t feeling great going into the vaults at Prestatyn last night… but practice seems to be paying off 💪🏻 held my game to get out of the groups and played steady to win my first vault of 16.0. Highlights of the night were hitting a max to leave 16 when my opponent was on a double 🫡 an obviously winning the leg 😆 also coming back in the final from 2-0 down 🫣 New vault in Rhyl on Friday so let’s see if we can keep the winning ways and bag some more points 👏🏻 The Upvcoutlet BarberShop82 System One Signs 🎯

Purchased some of the long awaited Target Darts K-Shift…… really not a fan 😕 so gutted as I love target products. Darts seem to move in the air and land at a totally different angle to my normal K-Flex, plus some seem really tight and others like a normal spin shaft and really loose…. Anyone else tried them? 👀

Tuesday! Been a busy week 🫣 little pre vault cash comp, ended up loosing in the final to the ever quality Baz Tym. Overall happy with the performance some solid practice over the last few weeks. An 81 + average 13 & 15 dart leg along the way, 156 out and lots of 17/18 darters means it’s nearly there 👀 thinking of doing a bit of vlogging / vids… what do you guys think?? 🫣🎯 thanks as always to my sponsors The Upvcoutlet BarberShop82 System One Signs

Frustrating evening again… felt like I actually played well, but fell short on getting out of the group by not killing that double…. Back to the board tonight and work on some areas that need addressing! 🎯💪🏻

So after a disappointing start to 2026 not making it out of my group at my first comp, I was ready to take a step back and go back to the board… a good friend gave me a kick up the arse and said match practice is what I needed… cue the first win of 2026, vaults win at Prestatyn beating some quality opponents on the way and although the average wasn’t the best, doubles were better and lots of good scoring at crucial times. This is the start of many this year, keep ya eyes peeled! Gonna utilise my Omni for practice and preparation.
