A filmmaker never switches off, even when his daughter is in hospital. Seriously though, she’s doing really well at present and was fully on board for this tiny project that took about 15 mins to film.
This is our submission and proof of time frame (if you can make out the date) into Newcastle Film Club x Terror on Tyne Horror Short Film Festival film challenge.

This film was made entirely on my iPhone 11, that’s shot and edited. So that’s how you end up with the mishap of accidentally taking a photo instead of recording. Now this lives on my phone and in my nightmares.

When you only capture 2x BTS pics so then you fake some more BTS pics but end up capturing BTS of the fake BTS. Lots of laughs were had today.

The title of my feature has officially changed.
Nevermind “never work with children or animals”.
Originally, I attempted to capture the photo developing as a timelapse to make the moment more authentic. Unfortunately, in the edit the shot just didn’t look good enough and cropping in to try make the image more impactful only resulted in poor quality. So I staged the photo development using movie magic to make the moment as clear and impactful as possible.
